Item 8.01. Other Events.
As previously reported, on April 21, 2020, the staff of the Listing Qualifications Department (the “Staff”) of The Nasdaq Stock Market notified SCYNEXIS that its common stock failed to maintain a minimum bid price of $1.00 over the previous 30 consecutive business days as required by the Listing Rules of The Nasdaq Stock Market. On July 16, 2020, SCYNEXIS implemented a 1-for-10 reverse stock split, effective July 17, 2020, to address this listing issue.
On August 3, 2020, SCYNEXIS received a letter from the Staff notifying SCYNEXIS that Staff has determined that for the last 10 consecutive business days, from July 17, 2020 to July 31, 2020, the closing bid price of SCYNEXIS’s common stock has been at $1.00 per share or greater and that, accordingly, SCYNEXIS has regained compliance with Listing Rule 5450(a)(1) and this matter is now closed.
